Wings: Coming Home to My Medicine
Walk, mini meal prep, and now sitting in the sauna.
This morning’s flow of ease has given me a lot of space to reflect on the past several days.
I worked cooking at a sacred ceremony this weekend, something I’ve done many times before, but this one felt so different.
It felt like I’ve finally landed at home in my body.
At home in the healer I’ve been in the past, and the healer I’m meant to be in this lifetime.
The card I pulled from my deck this morning felt like such a confirmation of everything I’ve been reflecting on.
Wings.
Ascension. Angelic. Infinite. Divine impact.
Today also marks the ending of my shamanic training. We will gather for our closing ceremony and honor all of the healing we’ve done this past year before walking over the threshold and bringing our medicine into this world.
And as I sit here, I’m realizing I don’t even really know how to say some of this to the world.
How do I tell you that I can hear plants and animals speak to me?
That I hear the land crying out to me, telling me how she wants to be tended. How she wants us to work with her. Not just take from her, but live in reciprocity with her.
It seems like everywhere I’ve gone these last few days, the communication has been coming in louder and clearer.
And I know the judgment that will probably come with writing these words.
I can already hear the part of me wondering what people will think.
But then there is this deeper knowing in me that says…
Who cares what you think?
This is my journey.
This is my path.
And I’m choosing to share it.
Not because I need everyone to understand it.
But because maybe, just maybe, sharing my own remembering will spark something within you.
A remembering that you are part of the Divine too.
That you have your own gifts.
Your own medicine.
Your own mission in this lifetime.
And I don’t think it’s something that is simply handed to us.
We have to work for it.
Heal for it.
Listen for it.
Live it.
And love it.
So cheers, my loves, to what’s coming next.
To crossing thresholds.
To stepping into the unknown, even when it feels scary.
To trusting the path when we can’t see what’s waiting on the other side.
And to remembering that we are Divinely protected, Divinely guided, and never truly walking alone. 🤍
In Peace, Love and Service,
Rebecca 🤍✨
