And So It Is
Everyone is sleeping in the house.
I used to get so mad that I felt like I had to sacrifice my sleep just to have some alone time, some peace and quiet. But tonight feels different.
I can see the change in my perspective.
I notice that I’m choosing to stay up a little later, even though I’m tired, because I can finally see what’s at the end of this tunnel.
For once, it feels so clear.
All of those sacred ceremonies, all of the channels that have come through, all of the pieces that I’ve been gathering for what feels like my entire life have finally clicked into place. My soul’s mission seems to be laid out right in front of me, clear as night.
And then I chuckle.
Because looking back, it has taken me my entire lifetime to arrive at this point of deep knowing. But now that I’m here, it just feels so right in my body.
I’ll be truthful, though.
Even though I feel like I know exactly what needs to be done, I’m frustrated.
Take my website, for example.
I can see it so clearly in my mind’s eye. I know how I want it to feel. I can feel the energy of it. I can see the vision.
But then I sit down at my computer and try to recreate that vision on an actual website, and there’s a disconnect.
I can’t figure out the technology piece.
And honestly, it’s really pissing me off.
But this is where I lean in.
I lean into the not knowing.
I lean into the unknown outcome of all of this effort.
And I trust.
I trust that the energy, the words, and the work I’m creating will find the people it’s meant to find.
Maybe that’s you.
Not because I’m trying to sell you anything.
But because maybe something I share will reflect something back to you. Maybe it will act as a mirror.
So I want to ask you:
Where in your life do you feel like you can see your soul’s mission, but you’re being a little too hard on yourself in the process?
Because as I sit with everything I’m feeling and what is real for me right now, in this exact moment, the truth is...
I’m scared.
I’m so afraid that I’m going to fail my kids because I’m choosing my work sometimes over spending quality time with them. Especially these last few weeks.
I’ve noticed how deeply I’ve been diving into this work, into my website, into trying to bring this vision to life.
And at the same time, I can see the healing that can come from this work.
I can see the impact I could have on people.
I can see the impact it could have on our world.
And there’s also an old part of me that is still afraid that I’m not good enough for the work I’m bringing into the world.
But I know that isn’t true.
That’s my ego.
That’s a safety mechanism deeply rooted in me, trying to keep me small, trying to keep me controlled by fear.
I’ve stood at this crossroads before.
A different situation. A different chapter.
But the same deeply rooted feeling.
And what I know now is that no matter what path I choose, it all leads me to the same destination.
And so it is.
In Peace, Love and Service,
Rebecca
