OUR STORY

family-owned business

Our family has slowly been in the process of switching over our lifestyles to become as

self-sustaining as possible and just get back to nature and a simple way of life. It has been my dream to start an organic farm and sell our produce and homemade products that I use with my family such as creams, lotions, herbal tinctures, dried teas, and much more.

INSPIRATION OF WOODLAND FARMS

A healthy lifestyle has always been a part of my life. Growing up, I was active in Soccer and spent free time outside competing. At that time, food was something that helped me stay on the pitch and kept my energy high. That all changed when my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.  My journey really started when we made a drastic shift in our eating, cutting out most processed foods, eating more organic and incorporating holistic medicines into our daily lives. By making those few changes, my mother outlived her doctor’s expectations significantly and has helped me to stay on that path ever since.

For over 10 years since then, I have learned so much about healthcare, environmental toxins, and different forms of holistic approaches to life. I have been blessed to witness the drastic changes in patients who, by making a few slight adjustments in their lifestyle have made a large positive change in their own lives. This mentality and practice has even helped me with my endometriosis, though my food choices are predominantly to thank!

I am blessed to share this passion with my amazing husband, two kids and our growing farm family. Together, we have incorporated herbal medicine into so many lives in our community. From the products we use to the food we consume, even the animals we keep live a holistic lifestyle. I continue to be fascinated by the power of plants and constantly increase my knowledge through continued education in hopes that I may pass along this information to those willing to learn. My long-term hope is to bring people back to nature and healthy eating back to the dinner table.

WE BELIEVE IN USING farmacy HERBS

“We are what we eat”. I try to live by this simple yet powerful statement. Which also carries throughout our farm. To the organic feed we use with our animals to the practices taken to grow our produce. It is my hope to one day bring others to the farm to pass along these practices and share my knowledge.

Animals Farm

Need to re-home an animal?

Here at woodland Farms we are able to take in Rabbits and Roosters looking to be rehomed. At this time we just ask for a $25 donation per animal to cover food costs.
